Model empathy as I deal with my patients. God has allowed me to be a part of their medical journey. Help me to empathize with their pain, ailments and worries. Help me to empathize with my mother-in-law and her health concerns.

Lord, help me understand those who look, think, act, behave, and vote differently than me.

Soften us all to be kind, understanding, to meet people where they are at, to walk in other's shoes, and to be a safe place so that you can work.

I love that this word is here. I am praying to have more empathy for others; less judgement.

Pray that Christians here and everywhere would model true empathy and compassion. Not the type that says I'm healthier than you, but with the most humility, we would love on all of God's people and model true empathy.

Lord, help me have empathy and love for people who are on both sides of the political spectrum. That's hard for me right now.

Lord, we have so much to eat, sleep in comfortable beds, and can control our surroundings. Let us feel empathy for those without.

I pray that you soften our hearts so that we may know and feel for others.
